Large violet flowers (up to two inches in diameter), with darker veins and light lavender centers open nearly continuously from late spring to frost. Similar to perennial star Rozanne but more compact with flowers closer to blue, æJolly BeeÆé is the result of the crossing of G. shikokianum var. yoshiianum with G. wallichianum æBuxtonÆs VarietyÆ. Requires a bit more than half-day sun and well-drained, organically-enriched soil. Beautiful when combined with yellows and oranges.
