A bushy clumper with dusky violet petals, finely striped with deep violet veins, surrounding a white eye. The velvety-textured foliage emerges olive green with chocolate blotches, turning a quieter green in summer, then a showy red in autumn. Native to damp grasslands and scrub in eastern Asia.midsummer. More mounding habit than other hardy geraniums. A nice accent to combine with pink roses. Benefits from cutting back immediately after first bloom to freshen the plant and extend the flowering season.
