Originating in Asia, this species produces loose clumps of flat, linear basal leaves flourishing lax, 2-inch panicles of tightly clustered, shiny, pure white flowers. Thrives in partial to deep shade. When provided with sufficient moisture, does nicely in full sun. Excellent when planted in combination with ferns or Hellebores.
