Viburnum sargentii 'Onondaga' $9.95
Onondaga Viburnum
A selected form of this species, superficially similar to both V. opulus and V. trilobum. Yet this cultivar is decidedly different, with foliage that emerges in spring with a handsome dark purplish blush, creating a wonderful backdrop to very pretty clusters of white flowers surrounded by fertile bracts. Autumn coloration a deep maroon. An excellent choice as an upright and sturdy element in the mixed border, to 8 ft. tall by 4 ft. wide, in full sun and any soil.
Shasta' displays a profusion of extra large, pure white flowers that are larger than those found on other cultivars. The growth habit is strongly horizontal, twice as wide as high, making 'Shasta' a choice without equal as an architectural specimen. Bright red fruits are a brief ornamental attraction in late June followed by gorgeous maroon-purple autumn color.
An Outstanding new pink-flowered selection from New Zealand. Unlike other touting 'pink' blooms that fade to varying shades of white after initial first-year bloom, 'Molly' is consistently pink year after year. It's also an excellent rebloomer, providing and exceptional fall floral display when paired next to Cotinus 'Grace' as a foliage contrast.
